ISC2 Security Congress 2026: What NOVA Members Need to Know
ISC2's flagship conference, ISC2 Security Congress 2026, runs October 24 to 28 at the Gaylord Rockies in Denver, Colorado. Held every year since 2011, it brings together cyber, information, software and infrastructure security professionals for four keynotes, more than 100 expert speakers and a mix of technical, strategic and workforce sessions.
ISC2 Security Congress 2026 keynote speakers
Dr. Jaya Baloo, COO and CISO, AISLE: quantum readiness, risks from advanced AI models and preparing for Q-Day
Freaky Clown and Dr. Jessica Barker, Co-Founders and Co-CEOs, Cygenta: deepfakes, AI-driven attacks and social engineering
Chris Voss, former FBI lead hostage negotiator and founder of The Black Swan Group: negotiation for salaries, careers, executive buy-in and vendor deals
Kemba Walden, President, Paladin Global Institute, and former Acting U.S. National Cyber Director: the human skills AI cannot easily replicate
New hands-on formats
AI Incident Rooms: facilitated, 150-minute scenario discussions on how AI-enabled incidents unfold and how teams respond. Capped at 50 people per room, in person only.
Tabletop Exercises: 60 or 120-minute small-group scenarios that test decision-making and teamwork. In person only.
Lessons from the Field: 60-minute case-study breakouts on how real organizations handled real incidents. Open to in-person and virtual attendees.
Session tracks include Cloud Security, Cyber Leadership and Ethics, GRC, SecOps and Threat Response, Software Security, Frameworks and Standards, and Careers.
CPEs and registration
Attendees can earn up to 81.5 CPE credits through live and on-demand sessions, depending on pass type. Pre-conference workshops on October 24 and 25 cover AI, leadership and zero trust and add up to 16 CPEs for a two-day workshop. ISC2 members, candidates and associates receive discounted rates on all pass types. Seats in AI Incident Rooms and tabletops are reserved at registration while they last.
What it means for NOVA members
If you are heading to Denver, reserve the AI Incident Rooms early since they are capped. If you cannot travel, the virtual pass still gives you the Lessons from the Field breakouts and on-demand content for CPEs. Either way, bring your takeaways back to a chapter meeting: the best sessions often become the best hallway conversations at our Cyber Social Hour.
